The three to five feet long long creature is known to the locals as Allghoi khorkhoi, Mongolian for intestine worm because it is reported to look like the intestine of a cow. Questo grosso arnese, 5cm di diametro, da 60 a 150cm di lunghezza, sarebbe capace di uccidere all'istante un uomo (o addirittura un cammello) con un getto di saliva velenosa.

Vivrebbe nel deserto del Gobi e circolerebbero tra i mongoli molte storie della sua esistenza ma... finora non ne esiste ancora prova fotografica della sua esistenza.

E così, di tanto in tanto, qualche novello Indiana Jones si mette alla sua ricerca, sperando di tornarne vivo e con qualche fotografia.
